Some more clips!

Post by frank rogers »

I thought I would post some "not so new" clips from past projects. Oklahoma Stomp is Alex and I just jammin'. The other tracks are excerpts from Jim Hudsons, "Dulcimer Country" C.D. Thanks, F.R. http://www.geocities.com/frsteel/index.html

Drew, Jeff, Reggie, Thank you for the kind words. The blue Steel pictured on my website is a 1975 Marlen. It is the one that has been pictured on their literature, catalogs and website all these years. I bought it from Mr. Stadler in 1976 and used it with Dave and Sugar in 1977-78 and briefly with Ray Price in 1982. Thanks for asking

Great playing Frank. Very smooth and clean.

Always liked D&S's "Well, The Door Is Always
Open" (and the light's on in the hall).

Way to go Frank.

Nice going ,Frank! Where is that new CD of yours?

Too bad you didn't play your steel at the LT Zinn show in Grand Rapids Sunday.

But you made up for it with a lot of great guitar playing with that great backup band........al Image Image Image

Thanks, Stephen, Chip, Jim, and Al. The guitarist is yours truly. Most of my "road" career was with Dave and Sugar, but while I was with them I did back a lot of other Nashville artists on the "package" shows that were popular back then. The ones I worked with the most often were Dottsy, O.B. Mclinton, and Bobby Borchers. I did do some soundtrack work on the Bill Murray film, "Larger than Life" a few years ago. Thanks for the kind words. F.R.

Is the semi-hollow electric guitar pictured on the website the one on the clips?
