I've noticed for the past couple of weeks Penny is not using a Steel in her band. She does have my friend "Larry Nutter" playing lead guitar, and Bonnie Reilly playing Fiddle. . . .but haven't seen Rick Quincey or the other guy with the red Sho-Bud lately. This seemed to happen after they moved the show at the Mansion theatre in Branson rather than doing it at the RFD theatre. Wondering if this is a costing cut-back or just a different sound they're going for. She still has 2 keyboards. . . Brandy Roberts and Gina Brandt. I have always liked the show but you know me. . . . . .NO STEEL NO DEAL!

Hey Nick, I just posted a reply on the other thread about Penny's show. She filmed some new shows but I was not involved in any of the tapings due to the fact that I was in rehearsals with the balknobbers. So I am playing steel for the baldknobbers and Penny Gilley show. I have been on the road for the past three years with Joe Nichols. But some situations have caused me to come back to Branson. I am enjoying very highly working for the baldknobbers and I'm playing some good country music with Penny at the Mansion theater. Dean
