Today I just had the last session of 2 months of radio/chemo therapy...it has been less than fun , but the important thing is I have a clean bill of health! Imagine my joy telling that to the wife and kids!

Matt: In the 60's I was stationed at Spangdahlem, Germany. I was in a band called The Cimmaron Cowboys. We did a lot of shows in France and I vividly recall driving down the long, long hill by radio Lux on our way into France. The three years prior to that, I was playing in bands in England and our favorite radio station was radio Lux. I've often wondered if it's still there and using the same format ??

I too got a green light yesterday on my
eye surgery and they scheduled the next one for July so I know a little bit how you feel. Stay well and keep us up to date.

Many thanks to you all for the nice words, & glad to know the eye surgery was successfulo Paul. Unfortunately the Luxembourg you remember has all but disappeared. The last english Radio Luxembourg show aired in 1985-since then its been the usual commercial Britney n'Stynk nonsense. Ive been here since 1979 (Im British) and I miss the old Lux even though its more convenient now (we have supermarkets etc)! But some of the old Djs are still around.
