They hit a lot of the right marks, here - 4-band EQ with contour shift, plenty of headroom. Of course it's not what it isn't, and I suspect it's got a speaker voiced for modern bass that'd need swapping, but at 28 lbs, and $300... having the capacity to double and triple on instruments is good for the wallet, these days.
Hmmm, I wonder?

I have one of the older MB150 micro-bass amps, which is rated at 150 watts, and weighes around 24 pounds. It does not have reverb, but adding that with a reverb box, and it sounds absolutely fabulous with my pedal steel in a smaller venue, practice, or around the house.
The thing is very durable and rugged. Very well made. The one your link takes us to looks very different from the older ones, but I suspect is similar. G-K makes some great, dependable gear. I've had mine now for about 11 years and haven't had any problems with it at all. I paid $700 for mine new, so the price they list for that one is quite a bit cheaper, hopefully not due to lowering the quality of the amp.

I may not sound good, I just don't wanna sound bad.
