Post by chas smith R.I.P. »

This is the Taylor Swift, Love Story, video done over as an old-school electro-remix by endlessnoise:

Shouldn't there be some vampires in that video???

If you like this sort of thing, it was actually more interesting to me than the country mix. Only problem is that over time the supposed hip gadgety sounds start to sound lame as newer sounds enter the market. Remember how neat the Syndrums sounded when they came out?
Fortunately a Tele still retains cool status.

Something about that girl I like even though I know I am not supposed to.

I like it better than the original. No banjo!

I stand by the original with steel and banjo and I'm no banjo fan!

It's not like the original had a lot of steel, Theresa. I'd like to hear Paul overdub this remix - that would be great!

A dramatic improvement! It's almost mediocre now.

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to speak very briefly with John Ford Coley after his performance here. He said Nashville was "going in a new direction".

Watched the video link without sound.

I certainly hope they lived happily ever after.
