late 60's Ray Price Lead Guitar Player

Post by Tom Keller »

The First time I saw Ray Price in the late 60's his lead guitar player was using a nylon string classical style guitar. Guy was a great player but I never caught his name. Anybody know who that might of been? I do remember that Julian Tharpe was playing steel at the time.

Thanks

WOW! The Silver Kings must have been a San Antonio band. I don't remember the band, but Jerry Shea and Dick Ketner were both teachers at Caldwell Music when I took guitar lessons there about 53 or so years ago. Blast from the past.
