Well, Tanya was on the Imus show this morning as scheduled and did 3 songs from her new CD. Wine me up,San Antonio Stroll, and Swinging Doors. She looks real good and didn't have to show skin as the newer girls do. She has the voice and presence to carry it off without all the stage hype that they use nowadays. She was dressed very conservatively in jeans and a cloth jacket type shirt. (I'm not the sharpest knife in the block pertaining to fashion. lol ) A 6 piece group accompanied her. Her steel man got some good camera shots that showed a nice black Emmons. The steel was pretty far down in the mix and had no rides. The mix wasn't bad but the only ones featured were the fiddle and lead. It kind of fit the style of the songs tho. All in all, a good and enjoyable performance.

Re: Tanya
Sorry, but she did not have much substance to contribute to the conversation. She was very out of place. The Dem guy was under fire and that was the focus of the panel. I don't think she was treated rudely. It took me a few looks to actually recognize her. I turned the channel and heard the political fireworks and checked it out and kept thinking....that can't be Tanya Tucker? What is she doing on there anyway in a panel setting discussing politics?Bill R. Baker wrote:Tanya was on Hannity last night (Oct. 15) and I thought she was treated rather rudely, just kinda ignored. Did anyone else see that?

Tanya
Bill, I am no apologist for Tanya Tucker. She does not need it. She has done very well taking care of business since she was a teenager. If she did not belong there and if she had nothing to contribute, then why was she invited? I still think Hannity all but ignored her. A guest should not be invited anywhere and treated rudely. I suspect she had something to contribute if she had been given the opportunity. She has never been shy about voicing her opinion.
