Went to see Mighty Merle last week in Wabash, Ind. I have nothin' but respect for him and his band. He(Merle) had an operation a couple months ago and had to cancel, so this was his rescheduled show. It was well worth the wait. Norm and Biff were with him which was nothin' short of excelent, and a couple of his sons, plus the rest of the band. 9 or ten pieces. If he comes to your area be sure and see his show while you can. "TRUE TRADIONAL COUNTRY" A Pickin' Bro. Doyle

That's a heck of a big band for this era!

Well, let's see, there was 3 Tele's including Merle, steel, drums, sax ,piano, base. Maybe I stretched that a little, but they played 4& 5 part harmony amongst them in perfect harmony and just blew me away, besides Merle singin' his thing. Doyle
