Nashville Tribute To ???
Years ago I watched a tribute to a woman in Nashville who provided a place to stay for many struggling artists. It was called the "Hogs House" or some such. Hosted by Waylon and had Merle Kilgore, Roger Miller, Webb Pierce, Mickey Newbury, Faron Young, Willie Nelson, Gordon Lightfoot amoung others. Each told a little story and sang one of there early hits.
Anybody remember what the TV special was called, who the woman was and where I can get a copy of it?
Tks

I forgot what program that was on but I taped it on
VHS if I can ever find it. I never changed it over to DVD. Wish I had. If I find it I will convert it.
They were in a room with no lead instruments. Just
Flattop guitars and each one sang a short song.
Jimmy Dickens, Waylon, Faron, Willie, Merle and I forgot who else, but it was pure adlib ( off the cuff
singing) The best kind.
It was at Sue Brewer"s Boar's Nest.
