Is this just a one-shot deal? Will it be a
weekly deal? Who and How are gonna be the
replacements?
Say what you want about 'HeeHaw' - but I heard & saw, not only some of the best, but all of the best, on the wacky/lovable show.
Can't figure how they'll bring this one back - with everything intact. Obviously, some
things will be compromised

Maybe TV Land or CMT will be airing the old shows. I haven't heard anything about it.

Jack,
Very funny...
If I thought a reunion would give me back a
slender figure, I'd sign up for a weekly dose
and waive the pay....
I verified this information about a reunion show with Buck Owen's office's today and they said that at this point, it is just a rumor. I'll keep everyone posted should this change.

Even if Chalker was still alive I'm not sure he would show up for the reunion....while watching him play I always had the impression that he was really struggling to restrain his playing enough that it would fit-in with the commercial format of the show. (after all, he was reported to have quit Hank Thompson's Band because he didn't want to play that "hillbilly" music anymore)

Richard,
I got to play the 'Always - Patsy Cline' show in La Mirada, CA, with Misty Rowe playing the comedic 'Louise Seger' part, back in early '99.
We never got 'Hee Haw' in the UK, so I didn't know her background when I worked with her. Good fun, though, with Jessica Welch as 'Patsy'.....

Don't hold your Breath

Ah those Hee Haw Honeys, used to love to have to run over there to pick up an amp to work on. They would have to throw my country @ss out because I was drooling on the floor.
