New Steel
I never know which "room" this type of post should be in, but I wanted to comment on my brand new GFI Ultra that I bought this past weekend from Bobbe Seymour. I confess that my main reason for buying the guitar was the weight (it is very light!), but after getting it home and playing it for hours over the weekend, I fell in love with the guitar. I love the sound, and the guitar is really built very well. Hats off to Gene for building a very fine guitar, and also, thanks to Bobbe Seymour for always treating me right when I visit to his store. And hey Bobbe, just one complaint about your new store......the front door opens the wrong way!!!!!!!

Wow, I wasn't expecting this much feed back on Bobbe's door! All I can add is this.....if you ever have to carry an old MSA into the store you will know what I mean! By the way Bobbe, I still love the GFI. I have even tried to find some faults in the guitar, but so far can't find any. Thanks for turning me onto it! And on another note, my father really enjoys just sitting in your store and listening to all the great steel talk and stories.

Thank you Scott, I feel the neat little GFI steel is the most under rated, overlooked, steel in the industry, even though we are selling a lot of them. New tech.! A lot of folks need to take a serious look at this great guitar's atributes. I love the black frame model with black mica,Reminds me of something Porsche would do! Tell your Dad to come and see us anytime! He's as nice as you are!
Bobbe (G,FI would only have bought one sooner)

The "wrong way door".
OSHA Regulation Standards 29 CFR
Means of Egress 1910.37
"Discharge from exits."
(h)(1)
All exits shall discharge directly to the street, or to a yard, court, or other open space that gives safe access to a public way. The streets to which the exits discharge shall be of width adequate to accommodate all persons leaving the building. Yards, courts, or other open spaces to which exits discharge shall also be of adequate width and size to provide all persons leaving the building with ready access to the street. end CFR regs.
Mike, in this case, size "does" matter.

"Whats next??"
A workers comp claim. That "door" might somehow hit one of Bobbe's employee's rear and chipped a tail bone. Of course, claims like these are a common place here in my nation's capitol. Believe it or not, at my place of work a grave yard shift employee was showing off how a butcher knife couldn't pierce his back brace. This precious gem turned his back support brace around and was stabbing himself in the tummy. He was so proud of himself as he demonstrated to all the other idiots looking on, "See, this back brace is as strong as a bullet proof vest." WRONG! On of his jabs penetrated the brace and left a huge wound in his belly and soon after he was rushed to the hospital. We got the workers comp claim in today's mail!
