Why is Steel Guitar Jazz Marked Parental Advisory on Itunes?

Post by Matthew Carlin »

I was just on Itunes looking for Buddy Emmons songs and the album Steel Guitar Jazz under Buddie Emmons (its spelled that way on the cover?) is marked as explicit material... Why?????

is there a story here a newbie like myself should know?

Probably because the guitar on the cover is backwards. And you know what THAT signifies! :whoa:

Maybe they thought "Witchcraft" was a Marilyn Manson tune.

Might have something to do with the bar he packs.

Well personally, I wouldn't exactly consider eyetoons as an "authority" on music background information. More than likely, it's like utoob, and they accept anyone's comments (ratings) as gospel.

The spelling of "Buddie", however, was correct (in the period the album was released).

Well... You can't stamp it Explicit as a User, Thats one theory..

The spelling groups him as if he's is two artists. That can be bad because as a customer you might never find it.

John- is that the secret to his tone :D

Donnie - What's the story behind the name change.

I believe Buddy wanted both names "BUDDIE & EMMONS" to have 6 letters each.

This is my story and I'm sticking to it. :)
