The Gerald Ross Holiday Collection

Post by Gerald Ross »

It's that time of year again!

I Hope you all had a peaceful Thanksgiving with your family and friends and not too many "issues" popped up (laugh).

Once again I present the "Gerald Ross Holiday Collection" for your downloadable pleasure.

Steel guitar-wise you'll find my lap-steel version of Leroy Anderson's 'Sleigh Ride' and my resophonic guitar arrangement of 'Chanukah Oh Chanukah'.

This year's new tune is a solo ukulele version of the non-denominational seasonal classic 'Let It Snow' performed on my Talsma tenor uke.

Enjoy!

I wish you all a safe, peaceful and healthy holiday season.

Thanks for sharing, Gerald. Your music is always a treat.

Since this has no steel guitar in it, I'm moving it to Music from Steel Without Pedals.

Thanks Brad,

There are two songs with steel.

1. Sleigh Ride - total steel tune.
2. Chanukah oh Chanukah - Reso guitar in C6

Sure sounds like steel to me. But I guess there are some people who still don't know what a steel guitar is. I don't care if it's in the "Music" section or the "Steel Without Pedals" section. It's still beautiful. Keep it coming!

My mistake, Gerald. Moved back to Steel Without Pedals.

Carry on. :)

Yeah, I'm glad the tunes are back in the "Steel Without Pedals" area... where the big bucks are!

I thought I was being a victim of political correctness police because there is only one Chanukah song in the entire bunch.
