Some of the contract riders of the stars are pretty funny, when you have an idle moment:

I looked at just the Country section and was amazed at what some of these "stars" require. If I was the promoter,I would give some of them a free stick of dynamite,a large box of matches, and 5 gallon bucket of lubricant.

The steel player gets bupkis. ;)

Sure, some of it is silly, but what else is new? I don't think it's unreasonable for a well-established star and/or band who spends most of their time on the road to ask for significantly better than fast food. They eat whatever this is day in and day out. Maybe y'all think they should just have the management call in McDonald's and eat that every day. Life on the road is tough enough without that.

A lot of the other riders deal with technical issues - stage setup, electrical power, lights, backline equipment, and lots of other critical things that make or break a show.

I thought Iggy Pop's was the funniest by far.

so choosing to eat orgnaically and environmentally sound to be healthy and for the health of the planet is spoiled? I eat just like Mayer does.Nothing wrong with treating your body right when it's a large part of your job. Try eating healthy and you'll see why it's a must especially when you work the tough schedules touring musicians do. There are plenty of ridiculous riders. Food content isn't one of them when it's like this one.

Diana Krall has a pretty good wine list to choose from!
