Renting a Leslie in Australia?

Post by Marc Jenkins »

I good friend of mine is touring for 3 weeks in Australia with Toni Childs. Thus far, they've been stumped on finding a Leslie to rent.

Any down under forumites have any leads?

Thanks!

What kind of Leslie, the big tone cabinet?

Some of the rack processors and stomp boxes do a pretty good job at emulating one. :)

Ya, only the real deal will satisfy this guy! I think a 148 is his preference.

For what it's worth, he is a great Hammond player who needs to FEEL that pulse...

He should just bring it as his carry-on. I'm sure it'll fit right in the overhead baggage compartment.
