Ian Charles and the New Trio Plus... (I'm the 'plus' except that the guitarist will be absent, making it Ian and a trio)
is playing at The Underscore.
Upper East Side---1st Ave. between 89th & 90th st. I never knew there was anyplace to play in the land of Robert Chambers---I hope nobody asks me what prep school I went to---but I'll soon find out what this place is about.
The band is pretty rocking and it will especially fun & challenging since I've got extra turf to cover with a missing guitarist. As a full band we sounded pretty damned good a couple of weeks ago in New Haven. Grinding, swirly singer/singwriter rock. Not country.
We look to hit at 8:30 for a single set.
