"Secret Conspiracy" an answer to "Secret Agen

Hi All,

I decided to call this "Secret conspiracy" as a modest answer to "Secret Agent Man". I hope you like it.
I had a bad sounding midi file as backing, so excuse the sound (and the mistakes and missed bends, it's live).

"SECRET CONSPIRACY"

I guess I could have waited for my new guitar (see below, new "Epiphone Sheraton II vintage Sunburst") just ordered today to play it ($375 - Guitar Center).
I wonder if I can fit a tremolo bar on it as I really need one.
I can't wait to try it with my Fender Hot Rod Deville. They say they are made for each other (?).
I am thrilled as I now will be able to play Swing tunes and other tunes with a thick and full tone. The Strat's sound has been generally thin for me.

It's amazing that a guitar that gorgeous can still be had for $375.

(Seems like parts alone would almost cost that much...)

You won't have any trouble mounting a Bigsby on that Sheraton. The holes for the tailpiece studs will show, though. Gibson used to remedy this with a little plastic piece that said,"Custom Built" glued across the studs. There's also a trem called a Stetsbar, but they don't look cool, and I don't know how well they work.

I got the Manager's price for this basically (friend of mine).

The problem with most of the Bigsby tremolos is that it is very hard to hold the bar and pick the low E string because of the raised bar holder (I wonder why it's this way).
The only Bigsby I found that swayed all the way is this one sold only by "Elderly Instruments" online, but quite expensive:
