I've done it as an instrumental, and I also couldn't remember how it went at one point.

I still posted it on YouTube, anyway

Hi Johnny, Jessie did it about 1975, I think. She did a great job. Larry

Yeah, I guess she was a knockout. Probably still is.

This pic is from the late 1950s, when she was still Mirriam Johnson, before marrying Duane Eddy. Whatever happened to petticoats?

Hi & thanks for all the replies, Richard I'll catch your version tonight. I'm on dial up, & takes me a long time to get it, so I don't want to tie up my phone during the day time.
Larry give me an e-mail. I lost your address since you moved to Florida.
Mitch, Petticoats should have never been discontinued. Maybe we should start a thread somewhere to revive their use..

Now does anybody know who played steel on her you tube version on the link that Pete gave me.. To my feeble ears it doesn't sound like Mooney, but I've been known to be wrong before.

I really thought it sounded like Moon, but I'm usually wrong. I once heard Jessie and Waylon do a duet on 'Anita, You're Dreaming' I thought was beautiful. I've been trying to find it for a long time. I can find it by Waylon but not the two of them.
