Charting half measures

How would you chart measures such as in the first Line of "This One's Gonna Hurt You (for a long long time)

Baby, close that suitcase let's turn this thing around
there's (2) full ones then 2 beats in one two beats in two and back to ones
How is that charted please ? Thanx.

If it's a 2/4 bar in a piece of 4/4 music, use parenthesis (1). You can add two dots over top of that if you want to be really sure about it.

Thanks, Michael, I appreciate it ! Being the ole country boy that I am I entered it with dashes representing counts so it looked like 1 - 4 - 1 representing the four beat measure plus the next one beat. I like your way better-
