Crying Time.....David Hartley.....YouTube
Hi y'all.
It's been a busy time just lately at work so I have had no time to do much video on the steel in the week but just before Keith came over tonight I played along with one of my tracks called Crying Time. I thought I better youtube it just incase you all thought I had retired and sold the steel! Oh, Gary Carpenter, thanks for the extra pedals and rods, we put pedal 4 and 5 onto Keith's blonde steel tonight so it's officially a HARTLEY model now. I will youtube it at the weekend if I can think of something..
Regards,
David Hartley
PS.. I would like 19,041 people to view this before the weekend, then I can celebrate 1/2 million viewings of my youtube videos! Thanks!

Great Job
David another top shelf song, keep up the great playing. Hope all is well with you.
Say hello to Keith for me, I know he'll like all the pulls that you are putting on his Steel.
That will make it a Hartley Steel for him, by Rains.
How's your bar holding up?
Bill

David, I've been enjoying myself this AM, contributing to the count. Interested in David's CDs or tablature? http://www.amarillocountrymusicduo.com/page2.htm

Richard
I have not checked your tab yet but yes it is the split tuning on the 6th that you do the lick with using a,b, and lku which lowers 6th while sliding up a fret then dropping back one. Its a new one for me and I am totally over-using it at the moment. I am adding a split tuning on a Mullen on wednesday using the extra rod underneath. I got this lick from Mike Johnsons Together Again..
