stereo /mono hookup question
i have a art Sla-1 i just got if for some reason i need to just run one speaker with it does it have to be put in the bridged mono mode or can i just leave it in stereo mode and plug one speaker into one side an use it that way .i know you can do this with the Peavey amps per Mike Brown but i'm not sure with the Slay -1 and i can't really find an answer in the owners manual.i don'tdo this very often but have had a coupl of times when i did't have enought room for two speakers.

According to their operations manual, you can run one channel only with a minimum speaker load of 4 ohms, or run it in the bridged mode with a minimum speaker load of 8 ohms.
So the answers to your questions are; 1)no and 2)yes.
