I love them. Their 1989 road movie "Leningrad Cowboys Goes America" is a highly recommended classic, though it may be an advantage to be a Scandinavian with depressive tendencies to fully appreciate the dark humor... ;)

Steinar,

I remember that film. It was hilarious. Anyone who's been in a band would get it. Touring on a shoe string. I recall one of the guys supposedly froze on the boat trip over to america, so they carry him around in a coffin full of ice for most of the movie. Once they reach the deep south, the ice melts and the frozen guy thaws out in time for their big concert :lol:

I liked the scene where the bandmates say they're hungry and the promoter goes into the grocery store and buys the band a bag of onions to share. :eek:
