How they do it in Texas

Post by Joe Drivdahl »

Sung before a game between Texas Tech. and the Univ. of Texas. Leave it to Texas to do it the way it should be done.

Enjoy and feel proud.

WoW! The way it should be done!! pure harmony! I dont know, but anytime the national anthem is sung with no music, and natural harmonies sung, like these young ladies did...gives me chills everytime I listen to it. Another good version is in the movie "Hoosiers", when they play the state championship game...Thanks for posting..lets keep this one at the top so everyone can hear it! :)

Just heard it for the second time and the impact was even greater. What a beautiful tribute to our Nation as sung by these lovely, young ladies. Being a Red Raider fan I wish the outcome of the game had been different, but am extremely grateful for this unifying demonstration of patriotism!!

Gorgeous harmony and intonation, and from such young girls. It would be a joy to hear them sing anything. And whoever did the arranging for them deserves credit for that dynamite version. :)

Even though I live in Canada, I had to listen to it twice, and called my wife in to listen also. Crystal clear voices and such a beautiful harmony!!

Maybe we have some up and coming Dixie Chicks here?

Do any of our friends out in the Lubbock area know anything about these young ladies? Whoever is teaching them is doing some wonderful work with some already wonderful talent. Isn't it strange how God gives too much natural talent to some people and none to me?

With all the Texas talk and how it should be done, I was expecting a shuffle.
