Push pull restoration + maintenance video and book

Post by Mike Shefrin »

Perhaps this subject has already been covered but wouldn't it be a great idea if someone made a video or wrote a book on maintaining push pull steels. It could cover everything on how to replace springs or bolts to adjustments that one could learn how to do on one's own, and it would also tell you where to get replacement parts. Has this been done? Repair guys might not be all that keen on the idea as it would take away some of their business, still it seems like a good idea. After all, there are courses on videos and in books that teach one how to play the steel guitar. Why not have the same for repairing and maintaining push pull steels. What do you think?
