The Preacher on the E9

Post by Tony Dingus »

I enjoy trying to play C6 on E9 and this tune is easy based on the 9th string for the root . D6 position has alot to offer for 6th playing.

The Preacher On The E9

Post by Donny Dennis »

Tony,

This looks like a pretty easy tab that I would like to try but I am a beginner on the pedal steel, and have never heard this song. Can you please post a recording of it on the forum?

Thanks much.

I have no way of posting a track. Maybe Ricky or someone can.

good job Tony, I do this on my U12 and it is just about the same thing I think of it as a 6th tuning, which shows how close the E9 & C6 really is. The big difference is when you start improvising with the big chords of C6. Again. Great job. Larry
