I have an announcement regarding steel cases.
The travel case supplier that Excel used to deliver to us had gone out of business, and I was looking for a high-quality case to replace it.

I was able to make a deal with a manufacturer of a 4-wheel suitcase that is just the right size to hold a keyless, so I made a prototype using that.
The case is rather sturdy, thanks to the telescopic handle that acts as a backbone.

I intend to adopt this case and customers can also order a conventional hard case.

I have flown an S12 as checked lugage internationally several times in one of the previous “flex” cases. Not only are the super light, which keeps the whole thing under the luggage weight limit, but I feel the handle abuse very well. Mine has a padded “pull over bag” which provides for added padding and prevents accidental opening.

I have been playing Excel Superb I got this summer. Spectacular instrument. I am sure your new designs will be a success.

This is some sad news Shoji. It seems most people who contract this have a full recovery. I certainly hope that's the case for you. Sending the good mojo your way for a full and quick recovery!

Toshi, so sorry to hear about your illness. I wish you a speedy and full recovery.

I just received an update on Toshi from Mrs. Shoji. She said that he seems to be a little better today,,,yesterday could not sit up, today he sat in his wheelchair a little while. This is such a tragedy to happen to such a good family,,,at such a bad time!!!

I'll tell my forum friends,,,this is the most respectful, honorable man, family,,that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing!!! Let's continue to keep them in our prayers. I know that when Toshi gets started building guitar, he will be a real innovator,,an asset to the PSG community.

I hope you fully recover and can get back to normal life! I have know 2 guys that have had this and they both are doing fine now!

Just got an email from Toshi,,,,he was discharged from hospital Friday, looks like a long, tough period of rehab at home and hospital. He sounds he positive, determined to fight this thing and win!!! Of course he can't start to think about building guitars yet,,,but no doubt he will!!! Let's keep him in our prayers.

I'm sure that I speak for everyone here when I wish him the very best in recovery and rehab.

Wonderful news that he was released from hospital on Dec. 29. I wish him all the best for the new year and hope that he`ll be back in business when he`s fully recuperated. His new steel project looks like sure winner!

I would like to inform you about the progress of my treatment and my health condition.
I had Guillain-Barre syndrome as well as Fisher's syndrome.
I have a feeling that my limbs are recovering from numbness and muscle weakness, albeit only slightly.
I also have diplopia and facial paralysis due to paralysis of the external ocular muscles.
The nerves damaged by the disease still need time to recover, but I will do my best in rehabilitation to avoid any aftereffects.
I sincerely appreciate your encouraging messages.
