I agree, it would be cool to open for Kenny C. You are guaranteed there will be a huge crowd. Congrats!

Our band opened for 2 of my favorite songwriters lately. Rodny Crowell and Radney Foster. Both great guys and we got to hear some GREAT music.

Say what you will, gang, but I don't think you can accuse either Garth or Kenny of cruising on their looks.
Just my opinion.

FWIW, When we opened for Merle, $35,000 went to Merle, and $350 went to us.
I'm expecting something similar for the Kenny show, if we get paid at all.

I really hate to admit this but ,Kenny Chesney songs are somewhat of a guilty pleasure of mine. Im a 50 year old classic fan with a teenage daughter who listens to Top Country radio. I find myself enjoying and looking forward to his songs. "Sexy Tractor " Big Orange Ball " etc. not to mention the most beautiful sad song of last year, " Alot of Things Different". His honk of a voice is probably an aquired taste but at least his drawl sounds honest. Get off the kid's back !

I'll just stick to my Vernon Dalhart recordings. He has a great stage presence and a pro act...... Jennings
