In discussing what guitar it was going in, Jerry suggested 17.8k. It sounds really good in the Ritt.

I've had a bunch of True Tones in my steels .....For an E9 steel , I really like the 17.5 or so range ...It's SO SWEET !!......Maybe go an 18.5 for the C6 neck ..... Jerry makes one of the best steel guitar pickups out there, and I have praised his pickups for YEARS !!
They excel in Emmons P/P sounding guitars which I think surely qualifies the Ritt's that I have heard .. I'm sure that somewhere along the line , I will own a Ritt as I can't get enough of the tone from these steels .....Jim

you are right James in fact...
yesterday Charles Powell and I went down to Garys
for a visit and some work on my Ritt sd-10
let me tell you Gary is a true craftsman if ever there was....he was finishing a JCH d-10 up
and it had truetones in it man it sounded good!!
he did all the work I asked for and more
and he is making in my opinon one of the best steels that can be had!!
we had a great time and Gary is a great person to deal with wish yall could have been there
man it was fun Mike
