Hey folks, this is one moving association. The educational benefits alone is worth the registration. Not to mention one of the finest annual guitar shows in the Nation.

And the newsletters aren't just a couple of pages thrown together with a few tidbits...it's a book full of great ideas, tab, helpful hints, and commentary information.

If you'd like to advertise in the newsletter, just contact Terry at bethelgtr@aol.com and he'll be happy to hook you up. Remember, the OzarkSGA is an International association with members in places like Japan and Europe. So it's a great place to advertise your product.

Come on now, join us in the Ozarks!!

Speaking of the Branson Jam in July...another great event sponsored by the OzarkSGA. Always a great line up of talent!

The OzarkSGA has really got it going on. Remember, you do not have to live in the Ozark area to be a member...it's open to all world wide!

Thank you Hank and Lana! We sure have a good steel guitar association down here in the Branson/Springfield area. I have belonged to the association for several years now and I've found it to be very enjoyable and fulfulling. We have so many wonderful people who come to our bi-monthly meetings. Last month there were 11 or 12 steels playing in the jam. Then there were quite a few that just came to listen. The Community Center is first rate. It starts with easy entrance...no steps and lots of help getting your instruments in and out. The people at the Center are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome. Then there's Hank, Terry Bethel, Mike McGee standing there with big smiles and a hand shake. Then there's the ladies that bring all the goodies to eat. You can't beat a deal like that anywhere in town or the nation for that matter. So come one, come all. And OH YES, the big one.....July 28 and 29. You just can't miss that. (I wish Scotty Henderson was on the list to play) With a name like Scotty he needs to be on there! Anybody that chews peppermint gum has my vote. haha :) For years Terry Bethel has hosted the July show and he brings in tip-top players and we have it in a tip-top place, The Baldknobbers Theater in Branson. So plan to there. You'll enjoy about 7 hours of GREAT STEEL PLAYING. That's July 29!!!! And oh yes, the Branson Connection Band. WOW!!!! We'll look for you!

Well said, Jerry !! I am coming to Branson on wednesday just ahead of the friday / saturday thing and bringing about 500 brochures on the Baldknobbers event and hoping to have 4 or 5 local guys meet me to distribute them to local motel check in desks. So far Leonard Robertson has said he'd help---any others ?? The club is certainly going in the right direction now and the more it grows and adds things, the more needs for operating funds. The sunday Baldknobbers event is a prime opportunity to bring in funds, the crowd is already in town and many music lovers are just looking for something to do on sunday !! Please let Hank or I know if you can help. Won't take long with some help. -

Thanks so much, Bill! That is a great idea. Venda is working that day, so we can't be a part of it, but if we could, we would! I agree we need to let the people in Branson know that there's a super steel show going on! Thanks again!
