Bill sure does beautiful work! I hope you will bring it up to Duluth for the Arrowhead Steel Guitar Showcase on May 5th & 6th. I promise I'll stay back at least 10 feet so I don't drool on it.

How about posting a close of the 600 changer finger (with the hole for mounting the string) for those who have not seen it.
Reminds me I should post a pic of my Williams, now more than a year old but still like new.

WOW!! The Williams is without a doubt equal to any steel being built today. They sound and play great...and just look at this one! No finer person to deal with than Bill R.

Wow!!!! is right!
I thought I owned the coolest Williams color (burnt orange) but this trumps the one I owned. Thanks for posting the pic. Bill built me a model 400 keyless with 9 & 8 and I have no idea how he fit all that stuff under there. It was delivered on time and I'm now sorry I sold it.

That takes my breath away! Wow!
One detail I like is that it doesn't have the multi-colored fretboards. Is that something you custom-ordered or is that a standard offering?

Bill said this steel had a lot of new changes besides the new changer.I've had a few flame maple instruments over the years but this in one flamey piece of wood.
Bill is a great guy to deal with.He knows what he's talking about and he'll never steer you wrong.
When I was picking up my steel he showed me a single
10 with a clear coat on spalted maple.my wife was lucky I only came home with the one.

Wow, Ken! That is one gorgeous guitar!!! I just ordered a new Williams and now I'm going to have to think about my choice of color. Bill is sure building some killer steel guitars. Enjoy it.

Very nice Ken,
I have a blood red S12 exE9 Williams Bill built for me, they are fantastic pedal steels for sure.
Enjoy

Beautiful guitar!
I bought a new Williams a year ago and talked to Bill about almost the same color as yours is but ultimately went with natural birdseye. I wish I had gone through with my original plan after seeing yours.
Bill's work is just some of the best you will find out there.

Bill brought a beautiful red D-10 to the Dairy State Jam, last year. I fell in love, it followed me home! I love my Willy! I'm coming back to the Dairy State Jam this year, but I had to promise my wife that I would'nt look at Bill's new projects. I'm sure you'll love the guitar and Bill is great to work with.

Nice guitar Ken. Is the pedal throw long,or short? By that I mean, do you have to push way down,or push just a short distance?

It is a shorter throw than the other steels I've had. It's really nice to have an instrument that is perfectly set up.
I hear alot about people needing longer legs because they're taller.Does anyone get shorter legs because they're shorter?
And it looks good from the back too.
