And Mr. David Wright, just where is your file. It 's not here with me and I just can't work long distance. If I don't get one soon, I'll just put one up of Frank Carter and then you will have to really scoot to get your best one out. :D :D :D

If you want to be a part of this, send what you want used on the page and I will put it there. It can be Wave, MP3 or others. If I have a problem with it, I will advise you. Please include your name and town with your email so I can apply the credit.

PLEASE NOTE::: Send 1 file. Changes can be made monthly.

Send email with files to ttexastilley@sbcglobal.net

Lets see what becomes of this.

Sorry Charles the 1st post was a boo-boo on my part.
I don't often participate in posting on the SGF but I must say you are to be commended for your efforts in starting up the new web page.
What a fine way for members to display their talents.
Thanks for doing this.

I have been sent files with no city and state. I ask you to remember to do that before it is posted. It is so visitors will know where the music of our country comes from.

I have not set a limit on file size but please keep files as small as possible. Hugh files will not be placed but the sender will be asked to send a smaller file.

Pictures of the players

Post by Charles Tilley »

I have posted 2 pictures of the players on the web site www.etsga.org/etsga50.htm.

The pictures are on Billy Braddy and Charles Tilley sites. If you would like for your picture to be posted like this, email me a picture to ttexastilley@sbcglobal.net.

I am not promising that I can do it---- just that I will try. If I am successful, then we are both winners. :D 8)

I just posted a file from Jack Dougherty of "Aura Lee" that is just fantastic.

I don't make a practice of statements like this to be fair with everyone but this is just something you gotta hear. All the players are very good and I am grateful to all of them.

Thanks Mr T....

It's my honor to be a part of this. Thanks for letting me come aboard. From what I've heard so far, this is going to be a great site. I can foresee great steel talent oozing from all parts unknown.

All the best:

Has everybody just stopped?

Post by Charles Tilley »

It seems that either I have found all the hidden talented steel players or some of you haven't gotten the word about this site.

This is a great opportunity for you to be heard world wide. Send the file by email or CD by snail mail and I will do the rest.

I just know that somewhere in this small world, there is a steel player just waiting to be heard. Well, this is your place.

Hey Charles...Glad to see you doing that kind of thing on the East Texas Website. It sure adds "flavor". Just one thing, DO I need some kind of special player (Real, Winamp, etc.) to hear the files that you have? I hit the link to it but for some reason, it would not load up. It just showed a little insignia looking thing in a square on the screen. Don't know what I am not doin' that I should do :x . Would sure like to be able to hear thos e pretty selections.

Your friend,
Gregg
