Yes, I was just about to ask the same thing. I knew Paul Franklin right away and that looks like Bruce Bouton at the Carter. I'm not sure about the others though.

I wonder what year Jim Bob's Zumsteel was built. The players in the picture, like Steve said are
Jim Bob and his Zum
Russ Pahl-he plays an Emmons
Bruce Bouton and his Carter
Paul Franklin-Franklin steel in picture?
Dan Dugmore and his Sho-Bud
Steve Hinson-Emmons
Sonny Garrish-another Emmons player
Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel, GFI Ultra D-10

I'm not sure what year Jim Bob's Zum was built, but I think it was the late 80's. He bought it from a friend of mine, and actually sold it back to him recently. From what I'm told he got himself a Mullen. If I find out more, I'll let you know.

Bobby, that's an interesting question. The last TV show (Martina McBride on the Opry) I thought for sure PF had a rack of Mesa Boogie's - either studio pre amps or Mesa Quad pre-amps? I would bet PF has tried just about every amp on the market or at least has access to them. However, it would be interesting to hear which Peavey amp he likes if he's using one.

Paul was using two Peavey 112's in Dallas! They had special colors as I recall, white & maroon?

Paul sounded great through the two Nashville 112's in Dallas. He has always used Peavey gear, but since he is a session player, he was hardly ever seen.

Paul uses a GD Walker in his live setup. If you look close you will see it in the "Players" video during the Travis Tritt set.

Last August Mike Brown took me to the advertising department at Peavey and showed me this picture.
It is used in Scotty's program for the ISGC.
Pretty cool stuff.
