Tonight and every other Friday night in New Hope backing Glen Whitaker, one the best singers you have never heard and a nice lady who really does a super job on the Connie Smith tunes.
I'm off tonight (Friday) and working tommorrow night (but not on steel) at the Music Showcase Theater of the Outer Banks in Kittyhawk, North Carolina. I'll be on lead guitar with the Sterling Riggs Elvis Tribute Show. It's a lot of fun as I get to polish up my old Scotty Moore licks! We do a set of 50's things like "Good Rockin' Tonight", "Baby Let's Play House", etc. and then I put away the archtop in favor of the Tele for the Vegas type tunes. We do this show once a month through September.....Have a good 'un...JH in VA.
