Greetings to all.

I've been lurking on the Forum for probably a little over a year, and finally joined.

It's actually coincidental that my Forum username and password arrived today, since my new Carter S12U arrived yesterday evening.

You can learn more about me at my Web site. The address is in my profile.

Also, greetings to Sonny Jenkins, Johnny Stout, and Justin Griffith.

Hello, Hill Country.
I'm sure you'll be happy as a member. You can now ask questions and try to stump the pros. Just kidding.
Welcome.

Hey, Justin. How goes it?

Actually, I just found out we have a gig at the Guadalupe County Fair, in Seguin. It's on October 6th. I'm supposed to find out the downbeat time at rehearsal this coming Tuesday.

Hopefully, I'll have enough time on the Carter to be comfortable on it for the Fair. I sure do like it. The Blanton has been a good old horse, but for the first time in 22 years, I can lift up my axe/case chest-high with one hand.

I haven't been there in a while. The Schlitterbahn crowd usually packs it in during the summer.

Al Quaid, that's Ol' Sammy Ben Layden's buddy, isn't he?

Sorry, bad joke.

Welcome, Mike. What color is your Carter? DId you get the most requested copedant? My Carter S12 is black. The Blanton looks clean and will be a good buy for someone.

Howdy, Sherman.

I chose the ebony birdseye and black scheme. I also went with the most requested tuning. I'm actually taking to it better than I thought I would.

I'm just glad not to be heaving my beast around.
