Post Where Your Gigs Are This Weekend

Post by Nick Reed »

This seems to be a popular post so lets hear where you STEEL PLAYERS will be picking this weekend, Friday 8/20 & Saturday 8/21!

My band "Country Junction" will be at Fed's Barbecue in Greenbrier, TN friday night starting at 6pm.

Saturday Night, we'll be at Flea Country in Springfield, TN playing from 7pm till 10pm. Image
Right after us, the "Broken Spoke" Band plays from 10:30 till 2am. Mike Cookie Jones plays Steel for Broken Spoke and IMHO he's the best in Nashville. Mike was in Barbara Mandrell's Band the D00-RIGHTS for many years

You guys looking for something to do come on out. If you get there while I'm still playin, be sure to come up to the stage and say hello.
It's 7 hours of live Country Music, Cold Beer, & Hot Women to dance with Image

Fly in before dark as the runway lights don't work. Let me know and I'll light up a couple tires on the runway if you want..

I will be playing at the "Sweet & Hot Music Festival" Saturday night with the "Big Band Alumni" in Los Angeles at the LAX Marriott hotel. The Big Band Alumni is 17 pieces with two singers. I'm playing Freddie Green style guitar with a few elec. solos and a few steel guitar solos, which, with the big band are a lot of fun.
