The red yick is coming off my red raja bar, anyone else have that problem? I thought it would last at least a year. Not so.

One of the reasons I chose not to go with the RR bar. But Bud Carter loves his. I think the bar can be refinished by the company that makes them, somewheres in North Texas. Contact Norris Family Music at 972-285-1378 for the necessary info.

This is the website for the makers of the Red Rajah, and my understanding also is that they will refinish them (I *think* you just have to pay the shipping cost, but check with them.) http://www.aguitarcenter.com/

Jim, I heard that some of the older bars were having that problem. But I do know that they are guaranteed for life. My bar is 2 years old and it's still like new. I've just purchased a black colored one. Bud Carter put me on to using the bar. I like it because it's more quiet when sliding up the neck. You don't hear as much of the bass string noise.

Good news', Got an email from Bratain Guitar products today, and to Quote them. "I'm sorry, just send it back and I'll send you a new one", and gave me the address. Nice to do business with someone like that.
