Moonlighters live on air and streaming radio

Post by Mike Neer »

Howdy. The Moonlighters will be performing live in the studio at WNTI (NJ)(91.9) on Tuesday, March 8 at 3pm-4pm on the Flaming Ukulele Hour. I believe the show will also be streamed over the internet. You can listen with Winamp--just go here: http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/wnti/ppr/wnti.pls

Thanks! I'll try and catch it.

If you ever come thru Colo. I'll get you on our station http://www.krfcfm.org

I do the Steel Guitar Jam every Thurs. AM

btw, it's gone over so well since it started last Aug., the station decided to add a Mandolin Show, and a Fiddle Show. I told them to do uke instead Image Maybe next open slot they try that.

cheers, Chris

I don't believe they are archived, although I may be archiving it myself. This is what I got from The Flaming Ukulele Hour: The Flaming Ukulele Radio Hour can be streamed live on Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m. and again Thursday midnight until 1 a.m. Friday, prevailing Eastern USA times www.wnti.org

Time to go!

Here's your archiving tool.
http://www.highcriteria.com/

I have used this numerous times to record live streaming audio off the Internet. It's cheap and easy to use and produces good results.

You can download it immediately, spend 30 minutes learning it and be ready to record the Moonlighters by 3PM today!

The Internet is amazing!

About Total Recorder--I've used it for years, but you need to have the Professional version in order to schedule recordings. The standard version will record, just not on a timer. The Professional version, which I have, is $34.95.

Bummer about the cancellation Mike.

So now what am I suppose to do? I bought a case of beer, called in sick to work, flew-in my uncle from Poughkeepsie, brushed my teeth and had the dog neutered. I was all set.

Actually I just had a sticky note stuck on my monitor reminding me to tune in.

Then you don't want to be out here in California. It's going to be 72 degrees today, and the flowering plum trees are in full bloom.
So when are the Moonlighters coming to California, Mike?

You don't really have winter in Virginia, Rick.

I'll tell you what winter is... it's 60 days in a row of below freezing temperatures, 45 of those below zero Image.

It's playing music outside and getting your tongue stuck to a 1934 Frypan (how my tongue got there, I'll never know ). Image

Did they bump you for a Monkee? What a rip. Image I got bumped for a Neil Diamond impersonator in Calgary last Valentine's Day. That was sad.

WNTI looks like a pretty solid station; they must make hard copies of these broadcasts. If not, Mike, you should see about getting a board tap, or the logger tape for that show in May.

I'd love to hear it and play it on our public/college station here in Edmonton. I've run out of Moonlighters MP3s (and worn out that "Hawaiian War Chant" MP3... if that's possible).

P.S. Winter is 2 weeks of -40 degrees, and 6 months below freezing. We have two seasons here: winter and July.
