DeskJet 800 & 900 Series, and PhotoSmart 1000,1100,1200,& 1300 Series, sold btwn 4/01 and 2/02, with a gray AC pwr cord that has "Longwell" molded btwn prongs on plug...Power cord could crack and expose live electrical contacts, posing electrocution or shock hazard. (Printers with Black pwr cords not affected)

Action: Unplug cord and call Hewlett-Packard 877-917-4378 or goto http://www.hp.com to order free replacement cord.
