WinProxy opinions

Post by Lou[NE] »

Does anyone have any experience with WinProxy, specifically its anti-virus function? ShieldsUp shows it to be a very effective firewall, and it solves some internet connection sharing problems I was having. All opinions appreciated. Thanks to all for an excellent forum.

Lou,

Sorry, I have no experience with this product. I have done a little research and they seem to have a pretty good product they are selling.

There are SO many products like this that it is hard to keep track of all of them.

Hi Lou,

I could sure recommend the Norton Internet Security 2002 with the built-in Firewall. This is an excellent product although a little pricey ($70). You can update you virus definitions daily if need be.
