Gary,
Do you mean a desktop icon? I've got one I'll try to mail you. Steel guitars don't make good icons, because the complexity of their detail doesn't show up well at 32 x 32 pixels. There is a freeware program that is useful in creating icons called Irfanview. Check it out here: http://www.irfanview.com/

Just for my info...I linked to a graphic of the icon in my above post. When I first view the post, there is no graphic, just the blank x box. When I hit the back button on my browser, then return to the page, bingo, there it is! Anybody know why this happens, and does it happen to others?

Tommy, I don't see your icon. All I see is a box with "Image hosted by Angelfire www. angelfire.com".

Strange. As I said, I don't see the icon until I hit the back button, then forward. If I refresh, it goes away again. I wonder what I am doing wrong? The URL is good: http://www.angelfire.com/vt2/tommymc3/images/steel2.gif and I think I did the UBB code correctly, using the IMG and /IMG bracketed.
Any Ideas anyone?

Once I go to your link, then back to the thread, I can see your icon. I think it's an AngelFire thing.

Hmm, now that I've come back to this thread again, now I can't see it in the thread or via the link. Image

Anglefire and the other free web space providers......do not like or let you direct link/ie/img!!
Then they can't plop their stupid advertising up......so free is free; but it usually isn't what you want to do in the first place.

...a good example is those free "Flaming Script" things....irregardless of their instructions to the contrary, they will disappear in "One Hour".......
