What is 'Content IE5' and Can I Get Rid of It?

Post by Steve Feldman »

This is a folder on my desktop. I assume this is just baggage after upgrading to IE6, but it's well over 100MB in size and seems to be just junk. Can I ditch it?
Thanks.
[This message was edited by Steve Feldman on 15 April 2002 at 08:59 AM.]

Yep...you can get rid of it. It should be stored in your 'temporary internet' folder. Don't know how it got on your desktop.

It just holds cached objects and other stuff you pull down locally when surfing the net.
