The company just leased a Mac G4 laptop for me to use. Looks like a fun little machine.
I was wondering how I can get MIDI signals into and out of it. On a PC you use the game port. What port do you do use for MIDI on a Mac?

b0b,
a USB or Firewire MIDI/audio interface is what you'll need with the latest generation of Macs. They no longer include a "serial" connector like the old Mac modem and printer ports. All is USB or Firewire (1394 on a PC)
MIDIman (a fine company) has these USB MIDI ports listed:

the 1 in/ 1 out midisport for MFSRP 69.95 might be ideal for experimentation
[This message was edited by Dave Van Allen on 15 March 2002 at 09:02 AM.]
