The company just leased a Mac G4 laptop for me to use. Looks like a fun little machine.
I was wondering how I can get MIDI signals into and out of it. On a PC you use the game port. What port do you do use for MIDI on a Mac?

a USB or Firewire MIDI/audio interface is what you'll need with the latest generation of Macs. They no longer include a "serial" connector like the old Mac modem and printer ports. All is USB or Firewire (1394 on a PC)
MIDIman (a fine company) has these USB MIDI ports listed:
