At one point in time I had a program that someone had given me that allowed you to type in words then press play and a digital voice would sound out what you had typed. It would do male or female voice and I remember an animated Genie popping up when the program repeated what you had typed. I have lost the program and do not know its name. I've searched the internet using several different search patterns but can't find anything like it. Have any of you ever used this program or one like it? Would you know where I could download it from?
Thanks

You're talking about TEXT TO SPEECH programs.
Go to http://www.zdnet.com/swlib/ and key that into the search box, then hit your Enter key. You should get a list of many TTS programs
Among other things, that list will show a title, license type (several are 'free'), and file size. Click on the underlined title to see a brief description of the program, including a download link.
If you need help downloading/installing, drop me an email. --Everett
