Hi Ricky, are you referring to the logo which appears during boot-up ? If so, generally that is written into bios and "Lives" within.

Ricky, exactly what do you want to change and why? Some of those initialization screens can be changed but I don't know if it's worth it, as there could be some other notice or information that could pop up with that screen.

Thanks guys I figured it out. You have to have a program called login loader....and it was for my nieces boyfriend and it's a piece of cake......so you can close this one.

As an administrator, go the the Users control panel, then select your account (or the one you wish to change.)

There is an option to change the picture displayed during log-in. I'm guessing that's what you want to change.

If you want to change the graphic appearance of the screen, you can edit or replace the graphic used in the original file. I don't have an XP box in front of me at the moment and can't remember the file name but I can find it if you really want to know. I do this all the time, replacing the graphically hideous Windows logo with something more pleasing.

In Win 9x/ME/2000, these are the logos.sys and logow.sys files. Your replacement files must conform to the exact dimensions of the originals. Same for XP.
