posting mp3 files

How do you go about including a short mp3 file when posting? Or, must they already be on the internet somewhere in order to post them?

You have to have the file on a server somewhere, e.g. your home page. Then provide a link to the file. The forum does not allow posting songs directly to the forum so it will automatically play when someone reads the thread.
