I'm sure many of you have received warnings from friends about a new virus warning in which you find a file on your hard drive entitled sulfnblk.exe and that this is supposed to be a virus. It's not. While there are viruses that can infect .exe files, this is not one. This is a file that Windows uses.
Before you erase this file, go to www.symantec.com (this is the site for Norton antivirus) and navigate to the page for virus encyclopedia listings and go alphabetically thru the "S" section. It will give a complete breakdown of this hoax.
I didn't erase mine, but many of my friends did and I'm still getting warnings to erase it.
