Replace Missing DLL File
I have a DLL file missing. Can anyone tell me where the website is that I can go to and replace this? Thanks!!!

The old reliable, dllarchive, isn't on line any more, and windrivers has gone to being a pay sight.
You might check out this one.

Lot of popup ads on this sight btw, but there is a good list of dll's to download.
You didn't say what dll you are missing. Perhaps it's just an outdated registry call to a program you uninstalled.

go to www.google.com and enter the name of the dll file in the search option. e.g. filename.dll
I think that will get you a link to the file. I've seen several posts that say you can get them that way.

Without knowing what file you're missing, it's hard to say where you can get it. If it's a Windows system DLL, you can run the Windows command SFC (System File Checker). Be sure you have your Windows CD ready if you installed from a CD.
