BIAB Styles

Post by Joe Delaronde »

I just can't figure out how to copy a part of a style into another.

IE: Somewhere My Love using SLOWZ12 (Slow Waltz Swing)style.
I don't care too much for the bass runs in this style, however, I like the other instruments. In places the bass plays the same note for 3 or 4 bars and sounds very amateurish.

Is it possible to copy a bass, drums, or any other instrument style, and paste it into another DIFFERENT style of the same gendre. By gendre, I mean two similar styles. (IE: copying a bass track from one 3/4 time to another 3/4 time style. )

Johnny Olynyk helped me with the style problem. Thanks John.
I made a new style and re-named it as per instructions, and it was saved in the BB directory, but Biab will not find it from the style function.

In the styles menu I updated the style list and Biab still can't find it.
I use the search function in Biab styles menu and it won't find it.

I can locate it using Explorer or "Windows find" and it's THERE.

Anyone have the URL for Biab group support, or the like.

Thanks......Joe
