Anyone else heard the news today?? The Judge ruled in favor of Excite.
Looks like us @home folks are gonna be offline for awhile.
They may try to reach some kind of an agreement before
midnite. I wonder how many on the forum will affected?

Charter furnished me with a CD to install the Pipeline setup into my system so that if @home's plug was pulled, I would be switched over. Did your provider not offer the same service?

It's 6:00 A.M. Saturday morning....

I'm still on the net. So,stay tuned.....

My thoughts is:

At 9.6 million cable-net users,(at $40.00 to $50:00 a pop) how is it possible that these cable providers are looseing 6 million dollars a week ???

There's something wrong with this picture...

I received an e-mail yesterday, 12/01/01, in which the sender gave me an alternate e-mail address "In case my @home dies". My reply to him bounced; in the bounce report was a line which said "account disabled".
