I have four computers. I don't remember all of the specs on them, but these are the general descriptions:
<ol>[*]The Forum server - Dell PowerEdge 1300 with a PIII, 800 MHz, 384 MB RAM, 8 GB SCSI disk. Runs Red Hat Linux 6.2
[*]My home computer - PC Plus, Pentium, 233 MHz, 256 MB RAM, 4 GB & 30 GB IDE drives, external SCSI CD burner & HP scanner. Runs Windows Millenium Edition
[*]Forum business computer - an HP Pavilion that I bought at Comp USA about 2 years ago. I don't know the specs on it, but I think it's something like a 450 MHz Pentium II. I just use it for Quickbooks and Forum correspondence (no Internet) at the office. Runs Windows 98.
[*]Main office computer - It's a Dell Precision dual PII at 550 MHz, 256 MB RAM, 2 big SCSI hard disks, external SCSI CD burner. I use this all day at the office for software development, graphics, music, internet, you name it. It has a good sound system hooked up to it. Runs Windows 2000 Professional.[/list]My house is networked to the Forum's 768k/768k SDSL line. Mrs. Lee's computer is also on the network. At the office, my main computer and a pair that belong to Avery (my employer) share a 1.5M/128k ADSL connection.
As you can see, I'm a real computer geek.
